The benchmarks were moved by the rally of Oracle and Nvidia, while Microsoft followed suit. USA30 rose 1.18%. USA500 went up 1.26%, while TECH100 added 1.87%.
Oil jumped 0.6% to $37.55 per barrel, while Brent went up 0.4% to $40.
Gold added 0.8% at $1,963.70 per ounce.
The Dollar Index was down 0.3% at 93.07.
Asia and Australia
HongKong45 added 0.61%, despite its disapproval of the new partnership between ByteDance’s TikTok and the American Oracle.
Japan225 rose 0.65%, hitting a six-month high after the vote for a new prime-minister has started. Yoshihide Suga from the Liberal Democratic Party is expected to win.
Down under, Australia200 added 0.68%
USD/JPY traded at 106.
AUD/USD lost 0.01% to 0.7282.
Europe
The benchmarks ended higher, being driven by the hope of a potential COVID-19 vaccine from AstraZeneca. Germany30 added 0.3%, while France40 rose 0.6%. UK100 went up 0.2%.
EUR/USD added 0.2% higher at 1.1863.
GBP/USD reached a high of 1.2918.
