Trump could experience a full suspension of his Twitter account

On Wednesday, Facebook and Twitter took an unprecedented measure as they both froze President Trump's account on their platforms. The decision came after some posts violated their Civic Integrity Policy, as Donald Trump posted messages and a clip that instigated his supporters to storm the Capitol building to protest the election.

Twitter announced that it had locked Trump's account for 12 hours and warned that it might permanently suspend it. "We have required the removal of three @realDonaldTrump Tweets that were posted earlier today for repeated and severe violations of our Civic Integrity Policy. This means that the account of @realDonaldTrump will be locked for 12 hours following the removal of these Tweets. If the Tweets are not removed, the account will remain locked," stated Twitter.

Besides the block from Facebook, Trump will not post anything also for 24 hours on Instagram.

Following the news, in pre-market trading, Facebook stock price gained 0.26%, while Twitter lost 1.61%.
