Weekly Natural Gas EIA Storage Report for September 16th

Here are the latest details from the U.S. Energy Information Administration regarding natural gas inventories for this week.

The working gas in storage for this week was brought up to 3,006 bcf as of Friday, September 10, 2021, based on EIA estimates. According to EIA, this represents a net increase of 83 bcf from the previous week, while gas stocks had 595 bcf less than last year for this exact time and 231 bcf below the 5-year average of 3,237 Bcf.

Leveling to 3,006 bcf, the total working gas can be seen as within the 5-year historical range for this season and time period.
