Microsoft's recent software update had an impact on the cloud-based services

As many people are still working from home, the need for software that makes their lives easier is overwhelming.

Microsoft suffered various disruptions with its Office 365 tools and #Azure Cloud, disabling users for multiple hours. The only ones affected were those who tried to log into the systems, not those already connected.

According to the company, the #Office 365 problem was caused by a software change. After the disruption, the software was restored to a previous version. However, the quick fix failed to restore the service. After a couple of hours of mitigation steps, users started noticing improvements.

In the middle of a pandemic, social services and platforms that support remote working are essential to all kinds of workers and companies, especially those offered by Microsoft, whose #Teams app had 75 million daily active users, as reported in April.

Following the news, Microsoft stock price traded 0.11% lower.
