UK's Johnson praises G-7 harmony as boon for democracy.
  • Brent crude futures settled at $72.69 a barrel, rising 17 cents after reaching their highest since May 2019. For the week, Brent was up 1%.
  • British Prime Minister Boris Johnson says there has been a “fantastic degree of harmony” among Group of Seven leaders at their summit.
  • The Bank of Japan will likely stand pat on its main policies at next week’s meeting, while tinkering on the margins of its toolkit by extending aid for pandemic-hit businesses.
