American Indices plummet after news hit the wire

President Trump announced in a tweet earlier today that he and his wife, Melania Trump, tested positive.

"Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19. We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER! " his tweet read.

The announcement came shortly after one of Trump's senior advisers tested positive for COVID-19 just a day earlier.

Following the news, the US indices crashed. USA30 lost 1.6%, while USA500 was down 2%. TECH100 dropped 1.8%.

Now, given that POTUS must undergo quarantine, the presidential-related endeavors are being questioned, the remaining two presidential debates included. October 15 was the date for the second presidential debate in Miami.
