Who is Bumble?

Bumble is a social app which facilitates communication between interested users. It was founded by Whitney Wolfe Herd, the co-founder of Tinder, and it was launched in December 2014.

Bumble is looking to raise as much as $1.8 billion through this initial public offering, seeking a valuation higher than $7 billion.

For its initial public offering, Bumble chose Goldman Sachs and Citigroup as main underwriters and Morgan Stanley and JPMorgan as additional bookrunners.

According to Reuters, after Bumble increased the price-range of its much-awaited stock market debut, the company is now aiming for a valuation of more than $7 billion when it goes public.
