Who are Lineage?

Lineage Inc., founded in 2008 and headquartered in Novi, Michigan, is a global leader in temperature-controlled logistics. The company specializes in cold storage, transportation, and supply chain solutions for perishable goods. With an extensive network of facilities across North America, Europe, and Asia, Lineage is known for its innovative technology and sustainability efforts in the food supply chain.

The warehousing giant is known for servicing household names like Amazon, Walmart and PepsiCo. 

Lineage Inc IPO Statistics  

Lineage announced its direct listing on the Nasdaq Global Exchange, under the ticker symbol ‘LINE’ will take place during the week of July 25th, 2024. The initial public offering is said to between $70.00 and $82.00 per share, and according to Avery Marquez, assistant portfolio manager at Renaissance Capital, a provider of pre-IPO research and IPO-focused ETFs, Lineage is poised to be the largest global IPO of 2024, with an estimated valuation of up to $19.16 billion.  

Additionally, Lineage's IPO underwriters will have a 30-day option to purchase an extra 7.05 million shares.

In September 2020, Lineage raised $1.6 billion in equity and over the past 4 years has invested heavily into their technology infrastructure and expansion. Notably, In November 2023, Lineage expanded and established Harnes (Pas-de-Calais) as its European logistics hub by opening a new 17,000 m2 (180,000 sq ft) state-of-the-art modern cold storage facility.

As of March, 2024, Lineage has been granted over 75 patents registered across multiple jurisdictions, related to technological developments within the temperature-controlled logistics sector.

These milestones have gained Lineage a ranking of 23rd in the Fast Company’s list of the world’s most innovative companies.
