IT Help Desk Technician


Job Description

We are looking for an IT Help Desk Technician to provide enterprise-level assistance to our employees. You will diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware problems and help our employees install applications and programs. IT Help Desk Technician responsibilities include resolving network issues, configuring operating systems and using remote desktop connections to provide immediate support.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance
  • Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
  • Taking ownership of faults and managing them in a logical and methodical manner
  • Ensuring all faults are progressed & cleared within SLA – escalating to other internal and external teams
  • Maintain and develop own knowledge and skills to assist with first-time fault resolution


  • Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician or similar role
  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues
  • Hands-on experience with Networking & Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments

Nice to have: VOIP experience
